January 2023 – We have our own dedicated website at riverstrainstation.ca! Now the work begins to put all the information we have amassed onto that website.
September 2022 – Advised by Manitoba Hydro that, with their Forest Enhancement Grant, we will be able to purchase and plant $8,000 worth of trees for the labyrinth area. More brick work was completed on the entrance way to the labyrinth by New Look Landscaping.
April/May of 2022 – New grey brick flower beds at the train station were completed by New Look Landscaping in time for the 2022 Year of the Garden – Red Plant Initiative.

September 2020 – Last wheel benches produced and placed in the community.
February 2020 – COVID-19 arrived.
Fall 2019 – Last of the soffits and refurbished Rivers sign were placed on the Rivers Train Station. All the bricks were re-pointed. The front face of the second story was repainted.
Summer 2019 – Wood to be used for the soffits was primed and painted at the Home Hardware shed.
June 2017 – Happy 150th Birthday Canada and the 100th birthday of the station.
Summer/Fall 2016 – Thanks to the Burns Foundation grant, the roof was replaced on station.
Spring 2013 – Granite plaque and bell placed on the wall of the Curling change area on the main floor of the community centre
