Heritage Mural Puzzle Project

The Mural Puzzle Project original design was a collaboration between the Rivers Train Station Restoration Committee Inc. and artist Cy Longman. Russell Dwyer completed the painting, with Cardinal Signs of Brandon allowing their shop to be used for the completion of this mural. The 27 puzzle pieces depict the heritage of our community and area through art.

The Whitehead Foundation for Western Manitoba Inc. provided the financial support to make this artistic rendition of our rich history possible. This unique artistic historical expression is the only one of its kind in Manitoba and as far as the research goes, Canada.
